Positions Available in the Islamabad Police Force: Terms and Application Procedure

The enrollment process to receive applications for employment in "Islamabad Police" will remain live up to the deadline of November 22, 2022. Applying for jobs requires interested parties to follow these steps:

Applications that are received after the deadline or are missing required information will not be reviewed.

No applicant may disclose their age, height, or allow their chest to be puffed out.

It is expected that all applicants would be truthful in their responses. There is a potential penalty of seven years for conviction of false information disclosure under PPC sections 420/468/471.

Applicants must provide an affidavit stating they have done nothing to warrant a criminal inquiry or prosecution. If the affidavit is found to be false, the applicant will be barred from future police job applications and legal action will be taken.

A transgender person can file an application using the CNIC gender that corresponds with their gender identity and the gender they identify with under the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act of 2018.

Those working for the government who meet the requirements can submit an application through the proper channels.

Applicants who are either now serving in the police force or who have previously served in the police force and are claiming family status must bring all supporting paperwork with them to the interview.

Morality and education levels of the selected candidates will be reviewed. If a candidate is determined to have provided false or fraudulent information or to have a criminal history, disciplinary action, including termination and legal action, will be taken.

The ICT Police website has details on the testing locations. However, ICT Police has exclusive authority to decide which facility would host the application.

The endurance test will last for around an hour, so participants should dress comfortably, carry a bottle of water, and wear sneakers or joggers.

Those applicants who score well on both the written exam and the physical exertion test will be contacted for an interview.

Candidates who have passed one level of testing are eligible to move on to the next round of testing in the same testing category. A candidate is not eligible to advance to the next level if they do not pass all of the examinations or requirements.

During the interview process, the Departmental Recruitment Board (DRB) and its staff will conduct a thorough physical examination of each applicant. If any applicants are found to have a disqualifying medical condition, they will be ineligible for employment with the ICT Police and appropriate legal action will be taken against them. The decision made by the DRB is final.

Before final selection, candidates will be subject to a comprehensive medical examination conducted by the federal government's medical board or civil surgeon. Candidates with normal eye exams but less than 6/6 vision will be disqualified from further consideration. In addition, those who are chronically ill or have disabilities, such as those with Hepatitis B or C, will be denied participation.

Those selected are bound by whatever policies the government imposes about conduct, discipline, advancement, and retirement.

No TA/DA will be accepted for the written test, physical/endurance test, or interview.
